How to place game ads on Facebook

Register as a developer and create an application
Register as a developer on Facebook. The first time you register, you need to verify your mobile phone number. After completing the registration, enter this page and click “Create an application”

Select “Other” and click Continue

Select “Business” for application type

Set your APP name and bind BM’s business platform

Just create it. After the creation is completed, you will get an application number.

Apply for a game advertising account

When submitting an advertising account, enter the application number you obtained, set the promotion link to the link of Google Play or APP store, fill in other information, and submit the advertising account.

Configure the application

First, click “Add product” to set up APP Events

Configure Facebook SDK according to the application type (it will be more accurate if the APP developer fills in this information)

Set the game category in the app settings

Bind the authorized advertising account and click Save.

Assign permissions

Set permissions for advertising accounts and public pages according to your needs

After setting, you need to check whether it has been associated with the user. If not, you need to do it manually.

Place ads

Open the ad management tool and create an app promotion ad in the campaign

Select App Promotion in the ad objective

Next, you need to fill in the audience, upload your ad creatives, configure the copy, and fill in all the information according to the prompts. Note: You can choose different performance goals at different stages of app promotion. In the early stage, you can generally choose “maximize app installation volume.”
